Cavu CF (“Cavu”) is an award-winning independent corporate finance advisory business. We have a demonstrable track record and pride ourselves in achieving exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Background

The business was founded by Shawn Bone, with the principal focus to provide robust, independent, bespoke advice to Cavu’s clients. With offices in Newcastle and Leeds (headed by Stephen Moore) Cavu’s main focus is on the North of England, but we have clients right across the UK. We also have alliances with corporate finance houses worldwide to assist with international projects. The senior team comprising of Shawn and Stephen have over 50 years combined experience in the corporate finance market.

Our Services

Our main services include, inter alia, working with private equity investors on acquisitions and sales, raising of development capital, company sales and acquisitions, buy out / buy ins, M&A support, debt advisory and exit planning and strategy.

Our Clients

Our clients include entrepreneurs and owners, shareholders in private companies, mid-cap listed businesses, management teams and private equity investors. As our sole focus is to provide independent, high quality corporate finance advice for our clients. We are not conflicted in any way, unlike many multi-disciplinary firms.

We primarily target transactions with an Enterprise Value between £2m and £100m.We support smaller transactions between £2m and £10m, where we believe we can add value to a high growth business, and where there is the potential for future equity funding or the business is likely to attract strategic trade buyers.

We are sector agnostic, but have a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. We have completed deals across a range of sectors including, but not limited to, industrials, support services, consumer, business services, TMT, financial services, energy and utilities, food and beverages, healthcare and chemicals.
